Aluminium Boats Australia has a modern
facility located at Hemmant on the Brisbane River with the cost saving advantage
of direct deep water access. The company
has been registered and operating since 1999 and comprises a
focused team of tradespeople with an extensive, specialized knowledge
and skills base.
We practice a cohesive approach in which
our trades staff are actively involved in the production planning process.
This creates a smooth work flow, meaning
quicker build times and the lowest possible cost to you. Our engineering staff
have extensive experience at sea, working
on commercial vessels ranging from luxury vessels to fishing vessels.

Our company philosophy and mission is to design and build, in conjunction
with a range of naval architects, high
performance and innovative vessels which set new standards for speed,
safety, and economy. We also aim to provide exceptional service and
dedication to each of our clients from the initial point of contact through
to sea trials and delivery. We have 10 years experience in the provision of
proactive scheduled maintenance programs,
especially on the Tangalooma fleet of vessels which experience heavy workloads*.
Our maintenance programs are designed to both maintain
premium value for a vessel and maximize
earning potential by scheduling maintenance windows when a vessel is
not earning money during low seasons and between work.

We have found that a close working relationship
with the designer is critical for the delivery of a vessel that addresses
all the customer’s requirements and budgetary
restraints and includes our preferred production techniques. This optimizes
the use of labour and materials, the two biggest
costs in manufacture. Our designers use state of the art design and
structural analysis software producing simple structures with well defined
load paths, resulting in lighter, stronger structures.
That means smaller fuel bills and greater profits for the owner.
All our projects are undertaken using a production
and cost management regime that ensures projects meet budgetary constraints
and in-service dates. Not only does this protect the viability of our business
but it gives peace of mind to our clients
who know that their projects will be delivered without problems. It also enables
accurate pricing for future projects.
